The 2021 Toyota Sienna proves that minivans are cool
Toyota just dropped the all new and all hybrid fourth generation Sienna on us this week, and it's the subject of this episode of autocomplete.

Listen, I know people like to dunk on minivans for being boring family trucks here is that you're forced to buy, when you give up on your dreams and start cranking out kids.
But the fact is.
They're way cooler then you might think.
Not only are they some of the most feature rich and comfortable vehicles to spend time in, increasingly are getting decent to drive and they're weirdly affordable for what they actually offer.
That's why, when Toyota brought out it's brand new 2021 Sienna after having given us the same warmed over version for ten full model years geeked out a little bit.
Not only does the new Sienna look great, especially if you like weird JDM luxury minivans and bullet trains as much as I do.
It shows twit a playing to its strengths by going with only hybrid drive trains.
Sure.
And electric minivan sounds cool, but people really pile the miles on these things.
So hybrid makes more sense right now.
From a styling standpoint, this is the best the Sienna has ever looked.
I love the Highlander like aggressive body lines.
The longer flatter hood makes this color look shockingly sporty.
Inside it's typical Toyota and that's not a bad thing.
We expect it to be pretty damn comfy and super well built but with totally met infotainment.
One weird downside to new Sienna is that the second row of seats is fixed meaning they're non removable and they can't fold because integrated side airbags safety is always a good thing and it's.
Very important in minivan buyers in general but so is flexibility with interior storage.
It's stiff see how this will pan out for the brand.
Other second row news includes the optional long slide captains chairs with power extending Ottomans.
They look epic and Frankly, I can't wait to take a nap in one.
Other awesome features that are available on higher trim levels include a built in vacuum cleaner, and a refrigerator.
Just enough to make a man reconsider his hard and fast stance on hashtag man life AK Rebranded homelessness, but I digress.
The 2021 Sienna is set to hit the market at the end of this year but Toyota is keeping pricing information close to its chest.
we'd expect the top trim levels to sit somewhere in the low to mid $50,000 range with base models in the low 30s.
Well, that's it for this episode of rochas autocomplete.
I've been a Hyatt you've been patient and I'd ask for you not only to hit the subscribe notification buttons if you were doing here but please chime in in the comment section and let us know what you want us to cover next.
