You can do the same with the provided remote if you don't want to pull your phone out.
This SPT portable AC can hit 10,000 BTU of cooling and 11,000 BTU of heating, so it's great if you want to use it year-round. It's suggested you use it in a 350-square-foot room, but you can probably go slightly bigger if you need to.
