Why You Can Trust CNET Best Pixel Tablet Deals: Save on Google's Best Tablet With These Discounts
Finding a deal on Google's Pixel Tablet isn't as easy as you'd think, but there are still ways to save.
It's fair to say that the Apple iPad is the go-to tablet for a ton of people but the Pixel Tablet offers a solid option within the Google ecosystem. It's light-years ahead of any previous Google tablet, and we found it to have a crisp picture, decent side speakers and a cool speaker dock that comes included in the box. Despite having been released in the summer of 2023, deals are currently hard to come by, although there are some if you know where to look. And we've done the hunting.
Google returned to tablets after several iterations of Pixel phones and a lineup of smart home devices, and it's clear that what it's learned from those devices is being used in the Pixel Tablet (as well as the new hybrid Pixel Fold). The Pixel Tablet is powered by Google's in-house Tensor G2 chip, and the Fold's software experience mirrors that of the Pixel phone rather than leaning into a Chromebook-like experience like the Pixel Slate's. The included magnetic speaker dock also transforms the Pixel Tablet into a smart display a la the Nest Hub.
The Pixel Fold features an 11-inch screen, 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. There's an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and also one on the back for snapping photos.
How much does the Pixel Tablet cost?
The Pixel Tablet normally costs $499 in the US. That price includes the 128GB tablet as well as the speaker dock that transforms the device into a smart display. The 256GB variant is $599.
What colors does the Pixel Tablet come in?
The Pixel Tablet comes in three colors: porcelain, hazel and rose. However, the rose color variant is only available on the base 128GB model.
Best Pixel Tablet deals
Best Buy isn't offering a direct discount, but you can take advantage of Best Buy's trade-in program to save up to $300 by trading in a similar device.
Amazon isn't currently offering any discounts on the Pixel Tablet, but that could well change especially the next time a Prime Day event rolls around.
Wellbots isn't offering any outright discount, but if you enter the discount code MOM10 you'll save 10%, bringing the price down to just $449.
Google isn't offering any discounts on its own Pixel Tablet right now, unfortunately, but all models are in stock and available immediately.
Target might not be offering any discounts as such, but you can save 5% if you're a Red Card holder.
While B&H isn't offering a discount on the Pixel Tablet, you can save the tax on your order if you have a Payboo card, at least.
