Surf Express conflict with QuickTime 4.0 confirmed

Ray Legall writes: "I just installed QuickTime 4.0b22 and both of my browsers started going haywire (Netscape Communicator 4.5.1 and IE 4.5) The problem is when I am attempt to watch a QuickTime movie in any browser, the second the movie finishes playing/downloading there is an instant crash with a Type 2 error." He eventually isolated Surf Express as a conflicting extension. He wrote to Connectix about this and they replied:

We are aware of the "streaming" problem you describe above, but do not have a solution as of this date. We are working on it, and hope to have a fix or work-around soon.
