Nikon Coolpix 2000 recall In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Nikon Inc. is voluntarily recalling about 9,100 Coolpix 2000-model digital cameras imported into the United States. A short circuit can occur in the battery compartment, creating a possible thermal burn hazard to consumers if the battery compartment lid is touched. More.
