Football season is upon us and with up to $800 off TVs at Best Buy, it's the perfect time to upgrade your viewing experience. The sale features a huge variety of brands, sizes and operating systems to suit your needs, and prices start at just $220 for 4K models.

If the visual experience is your priority on game day, our favorite TV for picture quality -- the LG G3 OLED -- is the one to go for in this sale. It's the best-performing TV that CNET reviewer David Katzmaier has ever tested, but its retail price is prohibitive for most folks. With as much as $700 in savings available right now at Best Buy, it's an opportunity to get one of the best TVs on the market for way less ahead of the 2023 NFL season. Prices are being matched at Amazon, too.

Looking for a more affordable option? One of our favorite budget TVs is on sale from as little as $240. The Hisense A6 Google TV doesn't cost a fortune but also doesn't look cheap with its super-thin bezels and metallic, rounded corners. It's available in sizes from 43 to 75 inches and offers some higher-end features at an entry-level price such as Dolby Vision and DTS Virtual:X for simulated surround sound. Google Assistant and Chromecast are also built in.

The sale features many other TVs from Samsung, Amazon, TCL, Vizio, Sony and others, so be sure to check out the entire promotion to see what's right for you and upgrade your NFL-watching experience.
