Android users definitely get the better deal when it comes to the Pebble watch. The "openness" of Android allows for developers to piggyback on other services and products, such as Pebble and come up with some handy uses.
While browsing Google Play, scrolling through the long list of apps developers have made to integrate with Pebble, I found an app called Pebble Rocker.
This app is more like the Swiss Army knife of Pebble apps, as it adds a lot of different functions to the Pebble watch from one place. After buying the app for just under $1 you can begin setting up the various apps for your watch.
With Pebble Rocker you can view your Facebook and Twitter timelines, view your photo gallery, have a tip calculator, and page your lost phone or watch from either device. Each service requires you to install an app on your Pebble watch, which then interacts with your phone and the Pebble Rocker app.
When viewing your Twitter or Facebook timeline you're able to move between messages by double-clicking either the top or bottom buttons on the right side of your watch. The middle button will allow you to view comments or refresh the respective feed.
Of course browsing either feed from your wrist isn't going to give you as much information or provide a great experience, but it's a convenient way to stay up to date on breaking news or the latest updates about your friend's trip to the gym.
The only downside to Pebble Rocker is the requirement to install multiple apps on your Pebble watch. Due to limited space, odds are you'll run into an issue with having too many apps or watch faces installed and have to make the tough decision of what to delete. According to the Play Store listing, the app will soon receive an "all-in-one" update to combine the apps into one installed app on your watch.
