Watermark your photos before sharing online with Marksta
For iPhone photographers looking to protect the photos they put online, Marksta makes it easy to add a (not-goofy-looking) watermark before uploading.
Worried the photos you share on your various social networks are being used without your permission? For iPhone photographers, Marksta is easily worth the $1.99. The app lets you add a watermark to your photos and provides a wealth of formatting options to protect your photos without ruining them.

To get started, tap the camera button in the upper-left corner to snap a photo or select one from your phone. Marksta will load your photo, below which are seven buttons to create a watermark.
From left to right, the seven buttons let you:
1. Add a border.
2. Change the color of your current layer if it's text or the opacity if it's an image.
3. Choose a font.
4. Add effects such as a drop shadow, select an alignment for your text, and choose whether you'd like it positioned somewhere on the image or run about the border.
5. Add a new layer, hide and show layers, and choose between text- and image-based watermarks.
6. Save the current template and select previously saved templates.
7. Save your image to your phone's Camera Roll, share it on Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr, or open it in another photo app on your phone, including Instagram.

Navigating the app is easy. To close the current editing tool, tap on the image. When working with a text-based watermark, tap on the text to edit. Tap anywhere else on the image to rotate a watermark. Double-tap on the image to zoom and double-tap again to zoom back out. Pinch with two fingers to resize your watermark, and drag to reposition. Careful to not tap on the watermark itself when performing these actions because it will open edit mode for a text-based watermark or the image selector when working with an image-based watermark.

You can easily share to Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr from Marksta. Tapping on the "Photo apps" button in the share screen lets you open the image in another photo app you have on your phone. In my case, my options were these:
