Create repeat events on Facebook

Here's a quick tip for adding an event on Facebook with the same details as another.

Organizing events through Facebook for school activities, parent meetings, or just time with friends? If the address for the location of the event is long, or you having a lot of specific people to invite, doing so can become cumbersome.

Instead of trying to keep up with making a new event each day, week, or month, you can set up a repeat event of one you already have very easily.

You'll need to create an initial event, which can be done by clicking the Events link on the left-hand side of the Facebook Web page. Next, tap the Create Event button and fill in the details.

Once the event is finished being created, you can make it a repeat event many more times. Just click the settings cog near the top-right hand corner of the Events area, and select Create Repeat Event. You'll just need to adjust the date and time of the additional event(s).

Note: Just to clear any confusion, repeat events will only create one copy at a time, and do not act like recurring events.

Do you use Facebook Events to plan...well, events? And if not, why? Share your reasons with us in the comments.
