Design basic badges or business cards for free
Not interested in learning a piece of image-editing software or paying someone to design your new business cards? The free tools on MakeBadge could help you out.
Paying someone to do design work can become expensive. That's not to say that designers aren't always worth their cost, but if funds are tight, it might be time to look toward another solution.
MakeBadge.com offers free tools for creating badges or business cards with its easy-to-use online editor. You can even import your logo or other graphics, free of charge. Here's how to get started:
First you'll want to head over to MakeBadge.com. Once there, you can get started on your business cards or badges right away -- the editor loads and is ready for use.

You'll probably want to select the background color from the spectrum on the left next so you can see how other elements will look on top of it. Next, choose between the text, image, or rectangle elements. Clicking on one of these will put the element in the middle of the editing area, allowing you to adjust its positioning. Just drag the small squares on the edges of the element to meet your desired sizing. Changing colors and font face is just a couple of quick clicks away on the left-hand side of the Web site.

That's all there is to it. Once you're finished editing the badge or business card, you can save or print your design. This is especially handy if you're going to have some business cards printed professionally (like with raised lettering) and need to provide them with a digital copy of your card.
