Print Instagram postcards from your phone with PrintYourInsta
Instead of printing clipped Instagram photos from your Camera Roll to an AirPrint-enabled printer, use PrintYourInsta to print your square photos inside a postcard frame.
If you got yourself an AirPrint-enabled printer and printed an Instagram photo from your iPhone's Camera Roll, then you were undoubtedly disappointed with the result. AirPrint assumes any and all photos in your Camera Roll are rectangular. So, when you print a square Instagram photo, the top and bottom of the photo get clipped.
With PrintYourInsta, you can print your Instagram photos in their entirety. Actually, PrintYourInsta creates a 4x6 postcard centered around your Instagram photo. (The photo itself is 3.25x3.25 inches.)

The free app lets you print out a basic postcard, which features no background pattern. Your profile picture and username appear above the photo, and the caption for the photo (if there is one) sits below. At the bottom of the postcard is a large "printed with PrintYourInsta" graphic, and in the lower-right corner of your photo is a small yet colorful PrintYourInsta watermark.

The app is free, but if you want to use one of the five templates other than the basic template, you'll be hit up for a 99-cent in-app purchase (just tap one of the additional templates for the offer). These five templates remove the watermark, which is worth the price of admission alone. Four of the five add a background texture or pattern to your postcard and the date and time the photo was snapped. Oddly, all six of the postcard templates are vertically oriented.

The home screen of the app lets you view popular photos, your feed, or just your photos. You can also search by hashtag. Tap on a thumbnail to view the photo. Below the photo, you can preview the various templates (if you spent the 99 cents), and you can also edit or remove the photo caption. Scroll down and tap the Print button to print your postcard. You can also save the postcard to your Camera Roll, Tweet it, or email it.

The app suggests you use 10x15 photo paper. Translating centimeters to inches, that would be 4x6 photo paper.
