How to send a postcard with your mobile device
The Touchnote app for Android and iOS takes a photo from your mobile device, prints it on a glossy postcard with a custom message, and sends it anywhere in the world for $1.49.

Touchnote is fast, easy to use, and offers an awesome way to make use of those shots that might have otherwise sat untouched in your photo gallery.
Here's how it works:
1. Download and install the app
Touchnote (download) is available for free in the
Android Market or
iTunes App Store. You can play around with it all you want, but when it comes time to actually send a postcard, you'll have to go ahead and create an account.

2. Pick a photo
The app gives you the choice of pulling a photo from your gallery, taking a new photo with your device's camera, or downloading one from your Facebook profile. Once you've made your pick, pinch and drag to control the zoom and placement of your photo, or do a two-finger twisting motion to rotate it in 90-degree increments.
3. Flip the card over and fill out the back
First, tap the field on the right to enter the destination address. If you have any addresses saved in your contacts, you can choose one. Otherwise, you'll have to enter the recipient's name and address manually.
Next, tap the field on the left to start filling out your message. But don't expect to be able to do much stylizing because there aren't any text alignment options, and there's only one standard font available. The app does let you create line breaks, though.
4. Pay and send
Touchnote accepts payments via credit card or PayPal. You can buy Touchnote credits individually for $1.49, or in packs, which come with free bonus credits.
Once you confirm your order, that's it. Cards usually arrive within 2-5 days in the U.S. and U.K., or within three weeks anywhere else.
