How to open links in the background in Safari on iOS 5

iOS 5 added a small feature to Mobile Safari by allowing users to open links in the background instead of being taken directly to the new tab or page.

We are still finding hidden features in iOS 5.

The latest is the option for users to open a link in the background, instead of being taken directly to the new page in Mobile Safari. To enable the new feature, you just need to turn it on.

Open Settings on your iOS device
Tap on Safari
Change the "Open Links" option to In Background

That's all there is to it! The video above shows you how to use the new feature after you have enabled it. Opening a link in the background is sure to come in handy for iOS users.
