How to share Evernote notebooks with Android

Evernote's Android app can now share notebooks, just like the desktop version. We'll show you how.

Evernote's Android app can now share notebooks, just like the desktop version. Here's how:

Step 1: Make sure you have the latest version of Evernote from the Android Market.

Step 2: Launch Evernote and go to your notebooks.

Step 3: Long press on a notebook you want to share and when the pop-up box appears, select "Sharing Settings."

Step 4: In the "Sharing settings" section, choose whether to make your notebook public, or share them with specific people.

Step 5: Enter the recipient's e-mail address or choose one from your contacts list.

Step 6: Select the permissions you want to set, then click the Invite button to send off the e-mail. Free accounts are limited to sharing notebooks for view only, while premium accounts can allow shared notebooks to be modified as well.

When the people you invited to share your notebook with receive the e-mail, they'll have a link they can click to access your notebook. Depending on the permissions you set, they may or may not need to log in to Evernote to access the shared notebook.
