How to access Spotify on your Sonos system

Spotify just launched in the US, giving American users the first taste of the highly anticipated streaming music service. Spotify provides native apps for your Mac or Windows machine, as well as iPhone and Android apps, all of which are really well done. If you have a Sonos system in your office or home, you are going to want to use your Spotify Premium account to get the most out of your Sonos.
It just so happens that Sonos has rolled out Spotify support. Read on to learn how to connect the two, and enjoy some quality music on a quality system.

To start, launch the Sonos Desktop Controller on your computer of choice. If your Music Library is not visible, click on the Show Music Library button.

Your Music Library will slide out to the right of the Desktop Controller window. Click on the Music Services tab.

You may have to click on the More Music title bar to get the full list of available music services. Find Spotify in the list, and click on Start.

This part is fairly simple and straight forward. If you already have a Spotify account just follow the prompts and enter your Spotify Premium account information.

Once you have connected your Spotify account to your Sonos, you will see any playlists you have already created and any songs you have starred. You will also have the ability to search Spotify for music.
That's all there is to it--a very easy way of adding a ton of music to your Sonos system.
