Using a mobile phone while driving is dangerous enough on its own. Add to that the need to look at your phone to end calls and you have a recipe for disaster. Fortunately, you can follow these quick steps to turn your power button into the end-call button you've been missing:

Step 1: Enter the settings menu from either the app tray or by clicking Menu>Settings from any Home screen.

Step 2: Navigate to Accessibility. This should be near the bottom of the list.

Step 3: Chances are you won't have any Accessibility related applications installed on your device. If this is the case, a warning will pop up directing you to the Market to download one. For the purpose of this How To it is unnecessary to download anything, so simply click Cancel to ignore the warning.

Step 4: Check the box next to "Power button ends call."

While the end result of this isn't 100-percent hands-free, it does deliver an easier alternative to having to turn the screen on to hang up calls.
