How to quickly filter your online daily deals
With this quick hack, you can make all your daily e-mails from sites like Groupon, LivingSocial, and Facebook Deals go into one organized place in your e-mail account.

It seems like a new daily deal Web site like Groupon, LivingSocial, or Facebook Deals arrives weekly, opening your e-mail inbox to endless frugal deals--$9 for two Fandango tickets, anyone?
But before you know you it, you've signed up for a dozen hyper-local deal sites, which in theory could save you a lot of money. Instead, however, you consistently wake up to a plethora of money-saving deals, leaving your more important e-mails buried (and your wallet a little lighter).
Luckily, there's a way to reap the benefits of daily deals without cluttering your inbox. Here's what to do in Gmail and Yahoo:
Gmail
Step 1: Check the boxes next to e-mails from the various daily deal Web sites in your inbox, like Groupon, LivingSocial, and others.
Step 2: Go to "More Actions" and select "Filter messages like these." You'll be taken to the message filtering screen. Hit "Next step."
Step 3: On this screen, check "Skip the Inbox." Then check "Apply label" and create a new label called "Daily Deals," or whatever name you'd like. In the same screen, check the box next to "Also apply filter to * conversations below." Then, select "Create filter".
Success! Going forward, e-mails from the selected Web sites will go into a folder accessible on the left sidebar of your inbox. If you'd ever like to add more daily e-mails to that folder, follow the same process.
Yahoo
Step 1: Check the box next to an e-mail from a daily deal Web site.
Step 2: Go to "Actions" in the top bar, and select "Filter e-mails like this."
Step 3: In the box that pops up, create a new folder under "Then move the message to" and call it "Daily Deals".
Success! Now e-mails from that Web site will go into your "Daily Deals" folder, found in the left sidebar of your inbox. Repeat the steps above to apply the same filter to other daily e-mails.
As you might have realized by now, you can follow these same steps to filter other kinds of e-mails, like ones from Facebook, newsletters, or even family members.
