Starting on June 7th, iPhone and iPad customers may want to be a little more savvy about checking their data usage, given AT&T's new plan structures. To check your data usage online, open your favorite Web browser and navigate to the AT&T Wireless homepage. Enter your account information and log in. Click on "Bill and Payments", then "Create a Billing Report" (under the Billing Reports section). Change the "Report" to "Data Usage Trend" and set the time period you would like to compare.

Of course you can also check your data usage right from your iPhone or iPad using the AT&T myWireless Mobile App. Using this data can help you make the correct decision when thinking about which data plan to purchase with your iPhone or iPad. You will also want to keep monitoring these numbers as you find yourself using your iPhone or iPad more.
