Congratulations to frequent guest and friend of the show Clayton Morris for reaching 100 episodes of his own podcast, The Grizzly Bear Egg Cafe!

Clayton joins us on The 404 this morning to chat about podcasting, backyard wrestling, and the tornado that hit New York last night!

We invited our buddy Clayton Morris of Fox and Friends to help us celebrate our 404th episode, so we're returning the favor for the 100th episode of The Grizzly Bear Egg Cafe, a podcast he does with Chikara founder and pro-wrestler Mike Quackenbush.

Girl Scout Weekly describes the show as "an omnibus podcast of pop culture, news, and tales from two rather odd lifestyles..." and Clayton tells us the origin of the name, because bears apparently do not lay eggs, which is news to all of us.

To celebrate his 100th episode, Wilson also cooked up a brand new logo for the show with a semi-embarrassing story to go along with it- apparently it's kind of difficult to purchase a single egg in New York City! We're also chatting with Clayton about the ins and outs of running a successful podcast and he even gives us a preview of some of GBEC's upcoming guests that include veteran artist Stan Bush and David Byrne from The Talking Heads!

Finally, join us after the break for Calls From the Public which features an appearance by one of our new favorite callers that sounds like the bastard child of Bill Cosby and Harry Caray.

Wrestling Scoreboard is a basic program that allows users to display and update an electronic scoreboard for wrestling. Unfortunately, the program's unintuitive operation makes it somewhat difficult to use.

The scoreboard itself is nice, with easy-to-read text and customizable colors. The opponents' names can be added to the scoreboard as well. Now that I've moved into a new mouseless apartment, I can finally settle down and live the dream of digital cable television. First things first, though: I need a new TV. Since it's been eights years since I've even considered buying a new box, needless to say I need all the help I can get. And if you think that Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn can even occupy the same air as our low brow-itude, you're on the wrong side of the ring. Jeff brings a great first story to the table about Best Buy's Geek Squad charging $130 to set up a PlayStation 3! This story is so ridiculous that it actually prompts Jeff to bring back the classic "ARE YOU KIDDIN' ME!?" and sadly...they aren't. Neither Best Buy nor Geek Squad have the best customer service reputation, but this might as well be a crime. We understand that there are some fairly techno-inept folks out there, but setting up a PS3 literally requires one plug. Save your $130 and buy some games.

First the movie, now the arena? This one is more real than reel because there's even an official Web site with video to promote the idea of Tresling, a sport combining arm wrestling with a board game setup and Tetris. To play, each hook, top roll, and press equates a turn of a block. Clearly, wimps need not apply, since failure to maintain your position will send your blocks tumbling all over the place. While I'm sure you have all heard about the tragic murder-suicide in which professional wrestler Chris Benoit slaughtered his wife and son before killing himself, an assortment of strange details surrounding the matter have begun to percolate up through the internet and major news media outlets. The most recent development involves a Wikipedia contributer who posted about the death of Benoit's wife several hours before the crime was discovered. While it appears that this was nothing more than wiki vandalism married to an unfortunate coincidence, it is just one of several which leave me wondering where the real world and fake wrestling come together.

During a June 11th WWE telecast Vince McMahon, the company's CEO, was "murdered" in a fiery limo explosion. A press release was issued announcing his death, and the television franchise geared up for a series of tributes to remember the fallen star. Of course, McMahon was very much alive and several wrestling fans were upset by the manufactured memorials. At the time, Wade Keller at the PWTorch suggested that in order, "to get the Mr. McMahon Death storyline over, script-breaking, character-breaking shows dedicated to Owen Hart and Eddie Guerrero after they died are being reenacted, emulated, exploited. That is what is wrong. It's beyond insensitive. It's shameful."
