Web "operating system" Glide on Thursday finally gave a name to its online storage service, calling it the "GDrive." It also bumped its capacity from 20GB to 30GB, making it one of the largest free storage offerings on the Web.

Google on Tuesday is making a big move with its Docs service, opening it up to all types of file uploads. This includes photos, movies, music, and ZIP archives, all of which will be stored on Google's servers.

Along with opening up Docs to additional file types, Google is also dramatically increasing the size of individual uploads. Over the past few weeks, numerous reports have surfaced suggesting that the mythical Google GDrive, an online storage service developed by the online giant, might be a reality even though the company has kept its alleged existence under wraps.

Blogger Brian Ussery has uncovered an interesting hint that the GDrive might actually exist.
