Primus frontman Les Claypool and M.I.R.V. guitarist Bryan Kehoe were jamming around the campfire one night. Claypool was suddenly inspired by the country music forced on him as a child -- Johnny Horton, Jerry Reed, and Vernon Dalhart -- and started playing his bass in a "Luther Perkins dig digga dang, dig digga dang" while Kehoe accompanied on guitar. They tested various songs, from obvious choices like Johnny Horton's "Battle of New Orleans" and Primus' own "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" to less likely candidates such as Alice in … Read more

XP's cut among desktop operating systems actually rose slightly the past two months, according to the latest Web traffic numbers from market tracker Net Applications. In February, XP's share inched up to 29.5 percent from 29.3 percent in January and 28.9 percent in December.
Of course, those are minor increases, a possible blip in XP's long-term decline. Just two years ago, XP was still … Read more

Kite also lends his voice to animated series "Black Dynamite" on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, and after making stand-up comedy a weekend hobby, has become sought after for his impressions of Vince Vaughn, Tom Hanks, Seth Rogen, Liam Neeson, and Robert Downey Jr.
How do you account for the success of "2 Broke Girls"? I … Read more
