Apple's AirDrop tool, which allows OS X users to share files between computers quickly and efficiently, is on its way to the company's mobile platform, a new report claims.

Apple is currently in the process of testing AirDrop on iOS 7, 9to5Mac is reporting, citing people who claim to have knowledge of its plans. According to the site's sources, AirDrop is currently embedded in the iOS share menu. It's possible that it could allow for sharing to Macs, though right now, it's focused on sharing between iOS devices.

Apple struck a licensing deal Sunday with both Warner Music Group and its publishing arm, Warner Chappell, bringing Apple's free Internet radio product that much closer to launching, according to sources familiar with the negotiations.

The deal suggests that Apple is working hard to unveil what's been dubbed iRadio at its Worldwide Developers Conference, which begins June 10.

Apple spokesman Tom Neumayr declined to comment.

Warner is the first of the major labels to reach deals for both recorded music and publishing, sources say.

With Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) starting June 10, speculation is swirling as to what might be introduced beyond significant, Jony Ive-inspired updates to the company's mobile and desktop operating systems.

According to one of more accurate analysts tracking Apple, Mingchi Kuo of KGI Securities, a slimmer MacBook Pro based on Intel's new Haswell processors and a MacBook Air with improved microphones are expected to debut at WWDC.

With Apple's WWDC right around the corner, it's time to put together our wish list of features and fixes we want in the company's next mobile operating-system update, iOS 7.

Apple's keynote speech for its Worldwide Developers Conference will kick off on June 10, the first day of the weeklong conference.

This is typically when the keynote occurs, with the rest of the week consisting of sessions for developers, along with events held at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., and other parts of the Moscone Center in San Francisco, where WWDC is taking place.

Programmers who waited more than two minutes to try to get tickets for Apple's 2013 Worldwide Developers Conference -- and thus missed the boat -- will be happy to know they now have some other options.

In the briefest of announcements, Apple said Friday that it will be "posting videos of all our sessions during the conference" and also "hitting the road this fall with Tech Talks in a city near you."

Apple is giving some developers a second chance at purchasing tickets to its annual developers conference, which sold out in just two minutes on Thursday.

The company has been getting in touch with what appears to be a handful of developers who attempted to make purchases when the $1,599 tickets for Apple's WWDC went on sale at 10 a.m. PT, MacRumors reports. Those developers have a ticket reserved for them, and will be able to make the purchase at a later date.
