Walking in to the BRDC Clubhouse at Silverstone is always a strange experience. It's the home of British Motorsport, the place where your name on the wall means you've truly made it; you are a motor-racing god. However, it gets stranger when you walk in and see 18 young guys wearing GT Academy T-shirts sat around looking as though they're about to receive a colonoscopy.
For those who don't know, the GT Academy is a yearly competition laid on by both Nissan and Sony with the aim of finding the next big thing in motor racing. … Read more
Sony's PlayStation 4 will hit US stores on November 15.
Unless you're planning to exclusively use the new console as a Netflix streaming box and media hub -- BTW, perfectly legitimate albeit expensive and kind of foolhardy reasons to buy one -- you'll likely want to play some games on it. As fun as it is to stream movies and TV shows, you don't need to pay $400 to do so.
Here's where this list of games comes in. Aside from Skylanders Swap Force, all PS4 games coming in 2013 will be available to purchase … Read more

This is a developing story and will be updated as we learn more details.

Video games are ace. They allow you to do so many things that otherwise wouldn't be possible; you can fight in wars, command armies, build giant skyscrapers, and race cars. Except there's still a barrier to entry there: a controller. It's that standardized interface that keeps you from becoming fully immersed in a game, especially when it comes to driving. I mean, how can a controller or even a plastic wheel even come close to the real thing?
Sony's DualShock 4 controller won't allow gamers to turn off its light bar to save battery life, according to the company's Worldwide Studio boss.
Fielding a question from a concerned gamer recently, Sony Worldwide Studio chief Shuhei Yoshida said on his Twitter account that the DualShock 4's light bar, which sits at the top of the device, cannot be turned off. The gamer was hoping to turn off the light bar "so the battery lasts longer."
Not including the ability to turn off the DualShock 4 light bar might annoy some gamers. The feature, … Read more
