Well looky what we got here: Phonescoop spotted this shiny new Helio QWERTY phone on the FCC site this morning, and it looks to be a triple-layer wonder. Not only does the phone slide up to reveal the number keypad, it also slides sideways to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard--both the keypad and the keyboard are on separate layers. Manufactured by Pantech, the phone is tentatively called the PN-810, but we're guessing Helio will name it something else to suit their current lineup of the Hero, the Kickflip, and the Drift. The day isn't over yet, and already there's an update to our earlier report of new Helio handsets. Apparently one of the new phones will be called the Drift, and it looks to be a slider model similar to Helio's current Hero phone. We don't know too much about the phone's features, but word is that it'll have a Bluetooth transmitter that can sync with a PC as well as connect to A2DP-capable devices, and we expect it to continue the MySpace Mobile support that's been Helio's trademark feature. Electronista reports that … Read more

Since the Kickflip, by far the sexiest phone in Helio's lineup, has been discontinued, it's likely that Helio will want to introduce a new handset as soon as possible to repopulate its lineup. We look forward to seeing what new handsets Helio has to … Read more
