Had you stopped by today, you could have had a slice of this cherry pie that I baked this afternoon. I make a pie pretty much every Sunday as a way to keep my hands off the computer. It's very therapeutic.
As for this one, it's a cherry pie. It's pretty standard as cherry pies go, except I added a hint of almond extract to the cherries and the crust is a sweet cream vanilla crust (yum).
Move to Utah. Get a pie a week at the Asay house. That's the deal.
