Our own Bonnie Cha had the chance to look over the HTC Titan and the HTC Radar a few months ago, but it wasn't until CTIA in San Diego that we had a chance to get proper First Look videos of them both.
Well, now here they are! Check them out to see if these Windows Phones are to your taste.
The Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update is rolling out today, but if you're looking to get your hands on a new smartphone, T-Mobile will be launching its first "4G" Windows Phone device, the HTC Radar 4G, just in time for the holiday season.
Previously announced for Europe and Asia, the Radar 4G is compatible with T-Mobile's HSPA+ (14.4Mbps) network and features an aluminum unibody design, a 3.8-inch WVGA touch screen, and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. In addition, the Mango handset has a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera, a front-facing VGA camera for video calls, and 8GB of internal memory.

In addition to the Radar, T-Mobile also announced that it has begun rolling out Mango to HTC HD7 owners. The update is being sent out in batches, and users will receive an alert when the software is ready for download. … Read more
Technology development firm Cambridge Consultants has created a military targeting system that can track 5-inch shells traveling more than 1,000 mph, allowing gunners to improve their shooting.
The system, which the company calls the first of its kind, is based on a 3D holographic radar known as the Land and Surface Target Scorer (LSTS). It can track highly mobile targets in a cluttered radar field.
In recent trials at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, the radar system was mounted on a tethered pontoon to track projectiles in a 360-degree, 1,000-foot coverage zone.
The LSTS tracked the trajectory and burst points of inert projectiles fired by a naval gun at a rate of one per three seconds. A laptop showed the results in near real time. … Read more
Raytheon this morning said that it has passed a major milestone in its bid to win a multi-billion dollar U.S. Navy radar contract.
The Tewksbury, Massachusetts military contract is currently competing against Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman for the lucrative contract to provide next-generation Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) technology for the Navy's Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. Ever since Microsoft took the wraps off of Windows Phone 7.5 (code-named Mango), we've been wondering how phone-makers would update the first crop of phones to carry the new operating system.
HTC gave us its answer with the announcements of the HTC Titan and HTC Radar, both available in Europe starting in October.

Though not much of a surprise, HTC fans were among the first to get a look at the company's new Windows Phone Mango handsets today. The HTC Titan and the HTC Radar were introduced at meetups held in England, France, Spain, and Germany, with both smartphones expected to be available in Europe in October. Pricing, as well as U.S. availability, were not announced at this time.

Wind turbines that do not interfere with radar systems used by aircraft may soon become a commercially viable option for the wind energy industry, Danish turbine manufacturer Vestas said today.
"Our testing has demonstrated that we have successfully adapted military stealth technology to make Vestas wind turbines viable for placement in many locations that have been restricted by radar concerns," Vestas Technology R&D President Finn Strom Madsen said in a statement.

The Equus is not your typical Hyundai. First of all, it costs a lot more, over 50 grand, than you would expect from the economy car maker. It also has a V-8, massage seats, and a refrigerator between the rear seats. It competes favorably with the Lexus LS 460, which Hyundai clearly had in its sights when it designed the car.
