How big can an ultrabook be before it stops seeming like one? Back at CES, the Acer Timeline Ultra M3 looked like a lot of other Acer Timelines: thin and full-featured, but not particularly "ultrabooky."

We happen to like Facebook's Timeline feature, but we know firsthand that there are plenty of people who don't. Facebook may be changing how your profile looks -- again.

The company confirmed today that it is conducting a test of the new Timeline layout, which moves some information and links into the panoramic photo that now stretches across the tops of user profiles.

"We can confirm this is a small test, but don't have anything further to share at this time," a spokesperson said in a statement the company e-mailed to me.

This could mean another redesign is on its way.

Facebook today unveiled a new mobile redesign aimed at making news feed photos up to three times larger on iOS, Android, and the social network's own mobile site.

"Starting today, we're rolling out an improved design for posts in news feed on your mobile phone," Facebook said in a post. "Now photos are up to 3x larger, and all posts will fill your mobile screen from edge to edge."

I figured that by now most people would have grown accustomed to Facebook's Timeline interface, but my post from a couple months ago about a Chrome extension that hides Timeline remains one of my most-clicked-on stories. Given the apparent interest in this topic, I searched for a Firefox add-on that did that same thing. Lo and behold, I found the very same extension.

Facebook decided to use its multi-million-member network to make it easier for people to become organ donors and it seems that so far, it's working.

Since Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg made the announcement early today that users can add if they are organ donors to their timelines, the Donate Life California registry has had an 800 percent increase in its organ donor registrations.
