But as I've pulled a few drives out that used such, the only thing I noticed is that the amount of force I had to apply to get the drive to slide out may be far more than your average user would use. And since I can't tell anyone to try harder for a few reasons they'll have to get the shop to do the work.

Then again, there could be more to the story such as a little coca cola splash.
