Having trouble with EPSON xp800

Hello -

I just purchased a scanner/printer/fax all in one and my MAC is not reading the scanner. It is not recognizing it however the printer portion is fine.

Does anyone have any advice how to make sure the scanner works? I tried googling it and a video on Vimeo said to check under the utilities settings but again, the MAC is not recognizing it.

My old device keeps popping up although I deleted it already.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
