Unable to switch on my lenovo laptop

I am having a laptop with out Cd Drive,copying datas through usb port,i shut down my laptop last night,i am unable to switch on now in the morning using power button.pls help me to switch on my laptop.

Is it plugged in?

If it's not plugged in, your battery could be run down. Does anything happen when you press the power button? Do lights flicker? Does it make any sounds at all? Do you get anything on the screen?

I plugged in and try to switch on many times.I didn't get any thing on the screen,the lights are not flickering.
