Remote Connection from PC to Notebook

I am currently using a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC (64 bit OS) (h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02842252.pdf) and a pre-build computer I recieved from my tech school.

My PC is running Windows 7 Pro (32 bit OS) while my Notebook PC is running Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit OS).

I can remote Notebook>PC but not PC>Notebook. I've changed the Remote port on the laptop to 3390 in the registry and in firewall rules, both on the computer and in my router, and still nothing..

- What exactly do you mean with "remote" and "remote port"?
- What firewall?

Changing things in your registry via regedit easily makes the situation worse in stead of better.

What are you trying to do? Are you attempting to share files or hardware on a network or are you trying to access one computer from the other? As another poster commented, why is registry access a consideration or firewall(s) for that matter.
