Powerpoint w/transitions on TV with USB

Hello,

I hope this is the correct forum (sorry if not)

I own a business and am using an LCD TV as a photo frame. Currently I have all my photos on a USB which plugs into the TV and plays as a slide show under "photos". Unfortunately they do not have any transitions. So I created a PPT show with transitions to play on the TV. It would not play as is so I converted to an AVI file. It plays but does not show the transitions. (The movie file still has them though)

So far my Internet search just shows having to burn a DVD to do this. I really do not want to have a player attached to the TV. Plus, I want to buy another TV for my store window and do a slide show for advertising. Adding a player would be to congested. I also would like to run this continuously (loop?) day & night.

Is there anything I can do/use that will let me have a slide show with transitions using only a USB?

I have a Samsung EH4050F for my photo frame and have not purchased the window TV yet. (If there is a better brand to use please suggest.)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try another file format first

Also try other file types if they are supported by your device. E.g. WMV, MP4, etc.

What is the best way?

Thank you for replying. I have Macs so the first thing I tried was converting it to a movie with my mac. That did not work. I do not have anything else that converts. What would you suggest for Apple products?
